Established in 1876, Texas A&M has been a school built on legacy and tradition. Therefore it should come as no surprise to learn that the roasters of TAMU gourmet coffee have a long standing relationship with the school. Founded in 1918 by H.Mills Duncan in Houston, Texas, Duncan Coffee provided its coffees to the University for many years. (See ads below from 1939 and 1949 TAMU yearbook.) Today four generations later, H.Mills Duncan IV continues in his Greatgrandfather's footsteps by providing fresh roasted gourmet coffees to some of the finest establishments in Texas.
